When we began looking for a herd sire we searched the web and visited many farms for that "perfect" one. We found one at Itsy Bitsy Burro Co., who had all the qualities we were searching for in a jack. The problem was, he was not for sale... his name was Jet Pilot.

When Jet Texas, the son of Jet Pilot & the beautiful Circle C Coco Channel's Allure (Itsy Bitsy's excellent breeding program) came along, we knew we had found our man.

We think he has it all... outstanding pedigree, great conformation, small size, black and mild temperament. He also has done great in the showring. Hopefully he'll follow in the same path as his Champion mom & dad & his grandfather, National Champion Bronson.

We are looking forward to his first foals.

Itsy Bitsy Aviator

Color: Dark Brown

DOB: 07/15/04

Birth Height: 17" - Height: 26 1/2" @ 2 1/2 years

Sire: Happytime Acres Pep-R-Oni - 30 1/2"  Dark Sorrel

Aviator is truly an Itsy Bitsy donkey. Besides possessing all the great qualities the donkeys from Itsy Bitsy Burro Co. have, he is VERY VERY small. At almost 2 years, he measures only 26 1/2" and is perfectly proportioned in everyway. When we purchased Jet Texas from Jerry & Tonnie Willrich, we started searching for a pasture friend for him. Since Aviator & Jet Texas were friends from birth, we were elated when they agreed to sell Aviator to us to be gelded. However, he matured into a perfect tiny "Model Donkey" with the warmest personality. Our grandchildren (ages 3 - 10) lead him around like a puppy. He loves to visit me in my office and knocks with his hoof whenever he wishes to come inside. Our vet and farrier shamed us for planning to geld him and deep down we knew they probably were right, but he was just so tiny and besides we didn't want him to get hurt. So after much thought he will become a herd sire... at least for now. A special facility has been constructed just for him and his lady friends. Aviator may be small but he doesn't know it. As Tonnie said: "He stands up on his straight legs with pride." He is the BIGGEST little donkey we have ever seen - and last but not least.... he is a half brother (maternal) to the well known champion herd sire, Jet Pilot of Itsy Bitsy Burro Co.
